Welcome to my memorial webpage to the brave men and women who fought and died in
the Vietnam war. This is one of the only wars that has had such a dramatic impact on all
areas of American life, culture, and politics. "No event in American history is more
misunderstood than the Vietnam War. It was misreported then, and it is misremembered
now." - Richard M. Nixon. This quote stands true today, since the early 1980's
most people viewed the Vietnam war as a hickup in American history, people were
learning the war from TV and movies such as Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, and Hamburger
Hill. Although entertaining, these movies portray Vietnam in the way the creator wanted
you to see them, often thinking behavior such as that was common place during the
Vietnam conflict. I have tried to make this site as historically accurate as possible, alot of
the information I have recycled from an old website I owned. I have been compiling this
information over the last seven year, making this site larger with pictures and
information. If you have any question, please email me and I will answer them to the best
of my ability or lead you to someone who may be of service.
All donations to this site are deeply appreciated, we are looking to purchase more pictures to have posted
